Sister Jayanti is a visionary, values-based leader who brings feminine inspired qualities to her leadership role within The Brahma Kumaris, the world's largest spiritual organisation for men and women to be led by women. Women are seen to embody the qualities needed to carry us forwards to a new era for humanity - qualities such as care, compassion, selfless service, honouring the collective well-being and seeing the impact of our actions today on future generations.
The Brahma Kumaris is a partner organisation for the global leadership initiative, 'Spirit of Humanity', which brings together leaders from all backgrounds to explore the possibility of governance based on love rather than legislation. Sister Jayanti, a leading figure in this Iceland based forum, facilitates a process of 'inside-out' leadership, which invites leaders to join her on an inner journey to see the goodness within and ask the question 'how shall we be?' rather than 'what can we do?'
Sister Jayanti is also a key figure in The Call of the Time dialogues which bring together high-level leaders from many countries and sectors of society, meeting regularly on all five continents, as well as at The Brahma Kumaris Headquarters at Mt Abu, India. The dialogues, which have been held since 1998, cover a variety of topics based on the pressing questions of the day, alongside periods of silence and personal reflection.
